Undoubtedly we all love cars! But this thing is not cheap, and driving always implies a high risk. That is why automakers are trying to maximize the reliability and safety of their cars! We want to consider the rating of the most reliable cars today, based on surveys and market analysis.

The American magazine “Consumer Reports” ranked the most reliable car brands based on data from 330,000 drivers who reported problems with their cars over the past year. In the survey, drivers were asked to rate their cars on 17 different parameters, including such questions regarding fuel economy, availability of automatic transmission, automatic climate control, used car or new car, the possibility of an electric motor or optional all wheel drive . This data was combined with data collected during tests on the test track, as well as information about the safety of cars, and then the final score was given.

For more than a decade already Lexus turned out to be again one of the most reliable brands – with an overall score of 76 points out of a possible 100. The Japanese brand came in second place together with Mazda (75 points) and Toyota (71). All other cars, beginning with Infiniti, have approximately the same reliability rating with an average of 66 points. The most unreliable car brands were Lincoln (18), Tesla (25) with electric vehicles and Jeep (26).
