The car, named Lamborghini Miura P400, was built on an innovative chassis with a transversely mounted 4.0-liter 12-cylinder engine. The power unit, in turn, was rated at 350 hp. Lamborghini Miura impressed contemporaries not only with its dynamic performance but also its design. Interestingly, the development of the exterior of the sports car was handled by the legendary Marcello Gandini.
